View of Vineyards


Here is a photo looking east from Las Amigas Rd which is in the SW corner of Napa.
Both the reddish brown foliage and the green are the leaves on the grapevines. I have been told that the leaves do not turn until the grapes are harvested. From what I have seen this seems to be true.

I love the rolling hills in this photo and the different colored blankets of foliage. It's all very lovely.

Interesting that the leaves don't turn till after the harvest. A raccoon harvested the few grapes I had so that must be why the foliage is turning on my vines. ;-)
