CDPB Theme Day - Lines
The Napa Valley is a dizzying array of lines.
Remember when you were a kid riding in the family's car...looking down ever narrowing rows of crops as they whizzed by until you got dizzy?

Dahlias
OK, I cheated on this one because it was not actually taken in Napa. Over in Sonoma on Old Adobe is Aztec Dahlias . They have some of the most beautiful dahlias I have ever seen. To see more photos of the dahlias click here.

My favorite Street
My favorite street in Napa is Franklin St. The largest Redwoods in the city can be found lining this street and every house looks like it came straight out of a story book. This one is for sale. Just a cool 1.3 M. Maybe I should run down to my back and get a loan. Oh that is right, I do not know who my bank is anymore (woo-hoo WaMu)

Seems like summer
This is only my second September here. I do not remember how long it stayed hot last September but I am ready for cooler weather. A convertible car would have been perfect today.

On the Vine soon to be Wine
It has still been hot in Napa, about 87 degrees today, our usual Indian Summer. But soon it will be time for "crush", when they harvest the wine grapes.

Morning Glory
My neighbor has morning glories covering the entire front of her cottage. They stay in bloom all spring and summer and are a beautiful purple.
